They are both fast, and polite in my Aldi...never any problems. 

Canary...I always though the Co-op was like smaller version of Waitrose/M and S...they do tend to be pricey.

Asda - nightmare! All the manned checkouts have at least 4 queuing with trolleys filled to overflowing & the self checkouts are usually busy & fiddly to use.

I've got a small co-op about a 10 minute walk away...closer is an Iceland and a very mini Morrisons...both overpriced for what they have. Thank goodness for regular bus service. I can't carry as much as I used to...hence an online order about every 10 days.

I go into Waitrose. I wait in the car at Tesco's or Morrison's.

Tesco home delivery though Asda only 5 minutes away (seems to have gone downhill recently with empty shelves and own brands).  Local shops for bakery, meat, fish.
