Looking Back.

The day you left school, did you look back for a second and think, I wish I wasn't leaving or, thank god for that, happy days ahead?

I left to go to college to do computer studies. Last day at school head told me I was wasting my ability doing computer science becuase it was something that would be a niche profession 😆

In answer to the OP, I didn't want to leave. I was really sad to be leaving all my mates behind, some of whom I haven't seen from that day to this, some of whom have now passed away. I actually left at Easter 1964 and hated the apprenticeship I'd started.

A waste of ten years of potential learning. A missed opportunity by the education authority.
