The only nonsense is coming from this government in many forms.

are you Labour by any chance?  😂

Research in UK shows "around half of the public (48%) consider themselves to be working class, 36% middle class and 0% upper class"

If half of them can't afford food that would be many millions of very hungry people

If thats to me davebro3 at the moment like many others, i dont know which way to jump, all as I know is we need change. And which ever government gets in next, peoples health should be at the top of the list, that also includes shaking the NHS up, and getting rid of none medical fat cats.

Well I.m afraid you might be disappointed. Both Labour and Tory may have the desire to "sort out" the NHS but haven't got a clue how to do it or the guts to grasp the nettle if they had a clue.

The best we can hope for is that people accept more responsibilty themselves for adopting a healthier lifestyle, but despite all the encouragement it doesn't look likely.

Yep, there are some folk who couldnt careless about their health until they land up in a hospital bed. But there can also be many other factors that have put them there, factors that government could address if they wanted too. The one reason they dont want to is it may harm the economy, especially in the food industry. Back to salt and sugar again.

Just like the nonsense removal of answers that you make.

Since obesity & excess alcohol are becoming more & more recognised as health risks (cancer/diabetes/heart problems) I think advertising food (including food delivery) and drink on TV should be banned - as was tobacco advertising.

And TV food programs should be limited to 2 hours per week per channel. So there!

advertising in general is a blight on the world. parasitic industry.

Davebro 10.49 The aim of the Cons is to privatise the NHS.If they can get away with it.

gully - the NHS already uses a lot of "private" services already & it's not just a Conservative thing. 20 years ago (Labour) I had an NHS operation in a Nuffield hospital.

And wasn't PFI a big Labour "thing"?
