OneDrive is Microsoft's online storage service.  All Windows users get some free space there but, obviously, Microsoft hope that you'll pay to get more space.  You don't need to use it at all though.  (I don't).

To get rid of it from your computer, go to your list of apps.  Right-click on 'OneDrive' and select 'Uninstall'. Once you've got rid of it, it'll no longer keep trying to connect to the storage service.
