I haven't heard anyone connecting it to climate change yet, not even the bbc, unless I missed it, a bit slow aren't they, telling us we need to tank the economy so it will never happen again.

There was one article on the Beeb that lurched into Full Green after the first couple of sentences but I think it's gone now.

High pressure to the north stalling low pressure system to the south, just bad timing.

Maybe they've finally heard of equinoxial storms?

(Masefield 'Cargoes')

average people trying to get on are not or care about percieved climate change, more about surviving bill rent mortgages etc let alone food electric gas etc again, all we can do is yea turn the heating down if we can health wise, climate loons would erm well llet them die for the sake of the planet, YOU FIRST.

No

It won't have helped. It's difficult to define exact causes of any particular storm, but this sort of thing will be more likely because of global warming changing the weather patterns.

Its weather

Scientists have been predicting more extremes of weather as a result of climate change for a good while now.

Still, what do these so called 'experts' know eh?

Not that much if they think we can change the weather, the sun controls our weather.                                                                  whether the weather is cold,                                                           or whether the weather is hot,                                                        we've got to whether the weather,                                                   whether we like it or not.

... we must weather the weather, whatever the weather,

whether we like it or not!!

Wow the storm must have blown my words about.

No.

It is Autumn. It rains in Autumn, quite a lot.

We get the residual effects of hurrianes in the UK which are formed in the North Atlantic.

Due to climate change we have recently seen more storms than we seen from the North Atlantic.

The more warmer the air, the more water that air can absorb before it falls as rain.

Gromit starts with a hard no, and then changes it to a yes in his last paragraph.

To put it simply warmer sea tempertures around the British Isles leads to heavier rainfall, so yes ultimately due to climate change

A little song for you all.

Mister Noah Built An Ark
Mister Noah built an ark
The people thought it was a lark
Mister Noah pleaded so
But into the ark they would not go.

Down came the rain in torrents
Down came the rain in torrents
Down came the rain in torrents
And only eight were saved.

The animals went in two by two
The elephant, giraffe, and the kangaroo*
All were safely stowed away
On that great and awful day

Down came the rain in torrents
Down came the rain in torrents
Down came the rain in torrents
And only eight were saved.

The animals were safely stowed away,
Before that great and awful day.
And after the judgement hour was past,
They all came safe to the land at last.

Whenever you see a rainbow,
Whenever you see a rainbow,
Whenever you see a rainbow,
Remember God is Love.

Jesus suffered upon the tree
Bore the wrath for you and me
Make him your ark and you will be
Safe through all eternity.

Whenever you see a rainbow,
Whenever you see a rainbow,
Whenever you see a rainbow,
Remember God is Love.

Thank You ,that's lovely.

Eff off God if all you can be is a universal hosepipe....
