Judges have been told to delay the sentencing of convicted criminals currently on bail – including rapists and burglars – because prisons are full.

Meanwhile under a Labour government deliberately calling someone by the wrong gender pronouns may land you in jail for two years.

The nonsense of it aside, it's good to know that Labour has its priorities right.  This reminds me of the voice-over in that wonderful old television comedy, 'Soap'.   'Confused?  You will be'.

Come on Naomi, surely you can see we need to make room for those damn savages usuing the wrong pronouns! It's all the Tories fault for jailing rapists and gangsters etc.

If he reads the Daily Mail I suspect he will be on to them for shabby journalism. This will never happen in a million years ...

"punishable by imprisonment under a Labour government, The Mail on Sunday can reveal."

From what source, exactly?

" Labour will strengthen the law to ensure the perpetrators of anti-LGBT+ hate can no longer dodge longer sentences"

Which is a million miles away from jailing someone for using the wrong pronouns  😗.

We have 12 more months of this I suppose

Just double the number of prisons. They'll be needed for all the TV, newspaper, and other woke folk, who try to please confused people by using the pronoun they insist on instead of the obviously correct one. Their parents should have taught them when they were young that lying like that is wrong.

Yes just build more prisons or outsource it.

Don't always believe what you read in certain papers. They cater to an auidence not willing to do some digging themselves.

Labour propose that "if any crime is motivated by someone’s race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or transgender status, courts can use enhanced sentencing – in other words, see that motivation as an aggravating factor – **but sentencing could not go above that already set out in guidelines for that particular crime.**"

Apparently the the issue was identified by the Law Commission in a consultation last year.

Home Office statistics show that there were 1,195 hate crimes recorded based on transgender identity in 2016/17, and this rose to 2,630 in 2020/21.

Those based on sexual orientation rose from 8,569 to 17,135 in the same time period.

Something needs to be done - ignore the Daily Mail spin - these are the FACTS:

Spot on ichkeria...

Crazy isn't it. It's a bit like the moderators of a website enforcing this gender nonsense by asking for members to be called by their name rather than he/she.

Do the Mods ask that folk be referred to by name rather than he/she?

Is it not that the preferred pronouns have to be used?

Naomi has asked that a member be referred to by name rather than pronoun in the past.

Question Author

No Naomi hasn't.  Naomi said that she refers to a certain poster by name rather than by pronoun.  Stop stirring Zacs-Master - and this isn't the first time that's been said.

"hate crimes" now rolls of the tongue as though it was an incontrovertible fact of life, having attained this position by pandering to the whining of the Muslim  Brotherhood etc.

Hate has been always with us, but treating it as 'crime' is quite asinine.

Who decides if a crime is motivated by pure hate anyway?
