Takin a break here - have cleaned all the tiny panes of 3 doors, windowlene, and two cloths.

Now have to take on big windows and do have the window vac, however I think it leaves streaks.

When you use your Karcher do you wash your windows with a little detergent/water or would you use the windowlene.

I use the Karcher fluid. And even then I'm not happy. I ended up doing mine again with a lint free cloth.
I use diluted Fairy Liquid
A drop of washing up liquid and a drop of vinegar. Buff the windows after using the Karcher.
a drop of washing up liquid and white vinegar then rinse off with clean water and then vac ,my big patio windows come up lovely x
You can't beat a traditional squeegee with a bit of soapy water .... although I am a window cleaner, so I am slightly biased :)
Yeah. Everything streaks. Karcher included.
//// Yeah. Everything streaks. Karcher included. ////

.... I'd love to come and clean your windows, just to disprove your statement ..... but you're probably a squillion miles from me :P
On large windows I use fairy liquid on a sponge, not too wet, enough to foam, then use up and down strokes with one of those T shaped thingys the window cleaner uses. One stroke all the way down from top to bottom.

have done the big windows - this is my best result ever.

Washed them down with diluted Fairy Liquid, rinsed off with clear water and then used the Karcher. Very impressed.
