These have just popped up on the Tesco app (I'm doing the shopping). Are they any good? I can see they'd be convenient for holidays and travelling but they seem expensive to me.
My wife fancies trying them.
The detergent alternatives, not the tumble dryer sheets

Does the app let you see the reviews from the website? They're generally very positive:

Loads more reviews on Amazon:

Barry, it depends on what you want them for.
If you do go on holidays or go travelling perhaps it might be worth buying a pack.
^^^ I wish that AB's server didn't do that!

One of those reviews says, 'and found lots of plastic debris on washing afterwards.'
Plastic?

Thanks, Buen - very informative. We now realise we would have to use 2 sheets per wash due to hard water so it just wouldn't be economical. We do a lot of laundry.

From the reviews, some people buy them for environmental reasons thinking they are a 'green' alternative.
From the packaging:
"Danger! Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye damage. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER, a doctor. Dispose of contents/container to hazardous or special waste collection point, in accordance with local, regional, national and/or international regulation. Contains: sodium dodecyl sulphate"

No better or worse than most laundry detergents.
I recall seeing Canadian leisure anglers in their small dinghy's on Lake Simcoe. Ontario. They looked so funny and I thought ridiculous.wearing little white nappies on their head ,I looked a little ridiculous the next day covered in hundreds of Mozzie bites.
Although containing no zeet they were extremely efficient in repelling bugs
Worse Barry. I saw on the TV advert that they work from 20C but I always wash at whatever temperature the cold water happens to be.
Question Author
You really wouldn't want to wash the laundry I have to deal with in cold water, Henry.
Henry, I thought 20° was the lowest temperature in washing machines. I admit I'd not trust such a low temperature for cleaning.
Question Author
My washing machine has both 20 degree and cold wash settings.
