According to google I say haitch not cuz i am thick, but due to my Irish origins.

Definitely aitch.
The Irish also say "fil-um" for "film" and lots more oddities, no doubt!

epenthesis isn't that unusual. Even the English say thunder where their ancestors managed with thunor, and hampster rather than hamster has made its way into some dictionaries.
