Since when can you not fry a fish finger?
It's been years since I had one, and I just fancied a couple. According to packaging you can only grill or oven cook. Hmphhhh

As I type the little one is tucking in to fish fingers, mashed potato and beans. The smell is taking me back to my childhood.
They were cooked in the air fryer, by the way ;)
Take no notice. Cook them traditionally, in the pan.
I didn't know fish had fingers!
I’ve always grilled them, wouldn’t dream of frying them. But of course you cook them how you want to, fry ‘em ferlew!
More healthier.

It's so long since I had them, probably not since the boys left home. I'm pretty certain when I did them for them that I only fried them.
Bobbi, yes that's exactly what I fancied, a fish finger butty, but with ketchup.
that's because they are dense, and if you fried them, the outside coating would be burnt while the inside would still be frozen. If you grill them or oven cook, it gives them time to thaw out/cook properly.
I've just had a quick look around some supermarket websites. Bird's Eye and Young's both want you to use your grill or oven, as does Tesco. Sainsbury's only want you to use your oven. Morrisons and Asda say that you can also shallow fry their own-brand fish fingers. Weird!

[I must be very, very bored!]
