It is very clear from the outcome of this that the woman has made this up, so why has the poor bloke had his name and face pictured but she gets off scot free?

can you write in a less tortured TTT stylle please

A woman lost her case at a tribunal for harassment. You have to look at things like - does a tribunal have the power to order anonymity? Can it enforce no photos outside the court?

She was named

She was also ordered to pay costs - this is very very rare in an industrial tribunal ( in fact I wondered if they had the power to do that) Usually both sides pay their own costs whatevva

so this thread is in an ongoing Prince harry situation. It depends on how you read the text and facts

Excuse me, I am not TTT, and your a fine one to talk about writing style!

And I am talking about the mug shots. His is there, hers is not. How is that fair?
Probably because they could find his photo on the internet but not hers
PP talks about "tortured writing" - that's like the Spanish inquisition moaning about a chinese burn! PMSL!
Yes there does seem to be double standards in this area.
I pity the boss of her next job. Sounds to me that she needs psychiatric help.
hmm tortured prose seems like a disease on AB

as for

PP talks about "tortured writing" - that's like the Spanish inquisition moaning about a chinese burn! PMSL!

I rest my case with no further questions
he's prettier than she

she got a beating and has to pay. Nothing unfair about that.

some points were quite difficult - harassment and annoyance is in the mind of the hearer/victim. So it doesnt matter if the boss says he didnt mean that. The Boss showed instead she cdnt reasonably have taken the view she did....

Since you opened this thread, the piece has been updated. It may not have had a picture of the accuser at 8.27am this morning but it does now.

Also, it's not clear from the outcome that Ms Gasparova had "made this up" - in the same way that rape victims whose attackers are found not guilty haven't necessarily made up their stories.
looks like her mugshot to me, but maybe they didn't have one to hand when they first published the story. Trust me, the Mail would throw a lot of resources into getting a picture of a scarlet woman like her.
as to why a male boss ends an email to a female staff member with "xx" - I couldn't say, but I'm not convinced by the panel's conclusion that it was "entirely innocent work-related conduct".
I can't see her mugshot, just casual photos, but probably her 'friend' has sold a couple of photos to the DM.
barry, it's not a police mugshot - a mug is just a face (apparently the word derives from those old Toby jug mugs with a face on them) and a shot is just a photo
jno - that is not what happened, he marked places in his email where he needed more information with XX, YY and ??. I don't see how that this could be mistaken for kisses. If you were not at the Tribunal and did not hear the evidnece, it is best not to second guess the decision of the Tribunal judge.
Thanks, jno, I automatically interpret 'mugshot' as a police photo.
