As I know you all like showing off how clever you are would anyone like to tell me how many metres of buntng I would need to put round an arena which is 20 feet by 25 feet times two although it is joined together down the middle so not two separate squares. Also anyone know where I can buy some cheap union jack bunting now the coronation is finished? Preferably material already on a band, as I bought some the other week and had to stape all the flags to ribbon and they were very flimsy.

If I've understood your question correctly, your first answer is 130 feet if the 25 foot long sides are joined together or 140 feet if the 20 feet long sides are joined together.
165 feet of red, white and blue fabric bunting for £39.99 here:

The Flag Shop on the internet is brilliant for buntingnand flags offall kinds.
Oops! Sorry! I've just seen the 'Union Jack' reference in your post. My link is for red, white and blue. (That's what comes of me trying to multi-task!).

Red, white and blue would suit so could be ideal. The two rings will be 25ft long and 20ft wide so the middle length would be 25ft joining the two rings. So would that be three times 25ft and four times 20ft? So 155ft?

Found a 50 metre long union jack one on ebay for £20.
^^^ So did I ;-)

Sorry Chris should have said thanks, that is the one I have now bought.
Mines would be £14.81 inc post for more than 50m.
Just want to point out links has asked for the answer in meters not feet so there's a final calc to do

Corby they are plastic though, I really wanted material as the plastic ones I bought the other week are very flimsy and I had to staple them on to plastic ribbon.
I hope this isn't a stupid question, but why are you buying bunting and flags now the Coronation is over?
^^^ People put bunting up for all sorts of reason, especially at events like dog shows (which Lankeela is involved with), Barsel. It just brightens the place up a bit!
Question Author
As Chris says I am running a dog show especially for Vulnerable Native Breeds and want to use it to separate the rings to give it a bit of colour. Should have gone round the local towns gathering up the used coronation bunting!
Never thought of that. :-)
