I am, can’t get enough of the media coverage since this afternoon and am feeling very interested and festive about the coronation.
It suddenly struck me today what a historic event it really is. That might sound daft but up till now I’d thought of it more in terms of a royal wedding or something like that. But this coronation really is something special, who knows if or when we’ll have another..
Anyhow, I’ve made half my lemon trifle and the fizz is in the fridge ready for some Buck’s Fizz in the morning while we watch the goings on as soon as we’re up and about.

Judging by the disappointing turn-out at all our village events (except the booze-up b'b'q at the pub) we have mainly forgotten, Togo. It's very sad.

I liked Camilla's wedding dress . Did you know that the embroidered designs around the bottom were of her rescue dogs?

I read that...the dress suited her, and I like the idea of such personal references.

I suspect everyone was watching the telly Jordain2. Bet if there had been a large screen on site there would have been more attending. Nothing would have moved "She who must be obeyed" away from the live footage yesterday. She isn't even what could be called a Royalist.

No I didn't Roy, but I did have to flick lots of pages in the newspapers, and punch the buttons on the TV remote control numerous times;-)
