Terrific game! I'd given up and stopped watching at half-time, but the French came back in strength and made it a good match. Another 15 mins.and they might have won. Well done ladies. :)

Made us a bit nervous at the end, but held on just long enough :) Congratulations!

The W6N sorely needs the other teams besides England and France to step up, though. Some signs of progress from Wales, Italy, and Scotland, but maybe will take them a while yet to reach a more competitive level.

Up until this year most of the players have been part time except for England and France so hopefully in the next few years the others will start to catch up now they have paid contracts. Then we should have more competition.

Yeah, shedman, it's nice to see that kind of progress at last. Fingers crossed it'll pay off down the line, probably not for a few years. England have some exceptional talent already, Dow and Breach in the backline, and players like Botterman, Bern, or Poppy Cleall at the front are all standouts for example. But they can only improve with more regular tough matches.
