Surprised no one has mentioned this lately. I thought Ed Gamble was the best yet. His rapport with Xander was just like the one Xander had with Richard. He would be a good permanent presenter in my view - waiting for people to disagree!!!

I liked Sally Lindsay, Lauren Laverne, and Stephen Mangan too but Ed Gamble was a pleasant surprise.

I didn't like Ed on the show. But if there was a vote mine would go to Stephen Mangan.

Funny how we all see different things..I didn’t think there was much rapport at all between them and wasn’t very keen on him.
Sharon, Stephen Mangan would get my vote too, he had everything needed to be a great presenter, and a really good rapport with Alexander.

It's a quiz show. What point should it have? Bring world peace? Banish disease, hunger and pestilence?

The contestants do at least appear to have been selected for their knowledge rather than being "interesting" characters.
