Bit of a joke really when the government past and present continue to ignore the issues they already know to be unhealthy.
The sugar content in food is still ignored, and the biggest killer of all, and the main reason many people suffer with high blood pressure, the massive salt content in processed foods, and many others.
The government don't seem to be concerned about a major food outlet promoting cream eggs in there processed sandwiches ( Subway) the same company who for an extra 20p you could have a further dose of salty crisps on your sandwich. But a failing company will try any means regardless.
What they are promoting is a ticking time bomb within young kids, and young adults, and they wonder why the NHS is unable to cope.
Take a look at the USA for obesity levels, the UK is going in the same direction, if not already there. Salt in processed food is a killer, in fact I was reading only the other day that there is more salt in one slice of bread, than a 25g bag of crisps, even some of the wholemeal. No vapes shouldn't be ignored, but just another diversion I fear from the real issues.
