Bbc Quiz : Week 12

A decent enough (in my opinion) FIVE out of seven for me in the main quiz this week:

Aunty Beeb seems to have got her knickers in a twist with the junior quiz this week. She's published last week's one again by mistake! So we can't all prove how childlike we are this week :-(

Here's a quiz on British scientific discoveries, taken from BBC Bitesize (which is primarily targeted at GCSE students) to make up for it though:

(TEN out of ten for me - which only goes to show how easy it is, I think!)

So that's an aggregate score of 21 for you all to beat. I know that Lie-in King will (because he always does!) but what about the rest of you?

I know you don't indulge , but Shady and I had a good gardening day today : cleared the couch grass around the strawberries, planted out mange tout and main crop peas....tomorrow is planting potatoes day...

The troublesome trio and I might, I think, be far more "full of the joys of spring" if there were actually any signs of spring around at the moment!

Not a hope with Shady, I'm afraid...
It reminds me of a video my son sent me, showing this guy solemnly placing wine bottle corks along a trench in the garden, only to be followed (you're ahead of me, I know! ) by him digging up sundry bottles of wine :-)

I was in Cromer yesterday, sadly for a funeral, but it was great driving through East Anglia.

Hi, Roo. Well done on that 9/10! You should spend more time in East Anglia though - hopefully when
(a) you've got nicer reasons to do so ; and
(b) the weather is a lot better than it's been here recently!
