I don't think there has been a morning without some form of this thread, so I thought I'd make a start. It's a nice sunny morning here but still cold. I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable Sunday whatever you are doing.
Bright and not too cold this morning, online shop was delivered without a single substitution, and yes I have lettuce! And tomatoes!, And leeks which have been really hard to find locally.
Time to tackle my pile of patchwork fabric which I am donating to a group making quilts for Ukranian children who have come to the Uk. I can't sit at a sewing machine any more but I am giving two embroidered quilts that I made a while back.
Good morning both. I made a cottage pie yesterday Choux so no cooking for me today, apart from some fresh veg. Crossword day for me which I love.
Rowan I've still never done an on line shop we have a Morrisons just down the road which is really handy
Morning, and speaking of tomatoes, the shop was out of the small ones I usually buy so I bought some ordinary big ones. Why does anyone buy those? They didn't taste of anything, least of all tomato.
Naomi tomatoes are something I just can't eat, they make me gag, it's something about the texture I think because I eat tomato soup and use passata in lots of things
Good morning all. Not sure what I'm doing today...if anything. It's grey and damp out and quite uninviting.
I love tomatoes...and mostly get cherry/plum on-the-vine ones. I like them sliced in half and pan fried in butter or olive oil. Yum.
Still no joy with them - I have a sub which supplies me with newsletters, but for some reason their system won’t accept my second payment for the puzzle link :(
A late Good Morning to you Margo and others. Wind is blowing, sun is shining and I can't wait to watch the Scots beat the Irish (sorry Gness, etc.) at rugby ... first the footie. Am thinking up a "fun" post for CB just to pass the time. x
