The bill for investigating Boris and "Partygate" is now set to soar ,as the Govt wants to extend this case. It has already cost the taxpayer £222.000
in legal fees. But the Govt Contract with the legal firm is to be renewed again, upping the bill by another five figure sum . If Boris can afford to pay £4 million for his new house so then should he pay his own legal fees

Eh?
You are assuming B has purchased his new house .
If people like you hadn't wanted to pursue such an insignificant event because you were desperate to bring him down at any price it wouldn't have cost the taxpayer anything.

But this renewed contract with the legal team is no doubt compiled of fat cat Tory lawyers etc waiting to jump on the gravy train of Boris's Crony Club

I can tell you if Boris lied about the Parties during lock down and if he mislead Parliament , for far less than £222,000
Gully ❤️ Boris.
mere bagatelle....money well spent.....another post from you showing what a petty obsessed little person you are with a total inability to even understand your own ramblings...keep it up, good comedy is hard to find these days...

How come Boris is allowed Legal Aid to fight his case.
Have a heart, Gulliver. He has houses to buy and children to keep. He needs legal aid. ;o)
It’s true lots of alimony. Lots of children to support .
Haha! Exactly, anneasquith. :o))
Won't be legal aid....more likely because it was at work doing 'work' so his employer he goverment pays. They could try to claim costs though if found guilty?
I can’t see why Gulliver is complaining. Boris’s critics worked long and hard to bring about this circus and eventually they got what they wanted. What’s not to like?
