Thought it was really poor - very difficult to follow and the wobbly camerawork didn't help. Hard to know who all the characters were, and having recently watched a documentary on the Brinks-Mat robbery, this drama seemed to bear absolutely no relation to what actually happened.
Shan't bother with the remaining episodes.
I did watch it. I found it hard to keep track of who was who. Everyone looks the same to me.

Husband has binged the whole series and said it was the best drama he’d seen on tv for ages.
I wasn't keen on it either and wonder how on earth they are going to fill the other five episodes!
I gave up on it - and like Good goalie I had just seen the excellent documentary on - I think - Ch4 . Worth a watch if you're interested.
I’m afraid I gave up too. I was looking forward to it as well. As has been said, too many people and difficult to tell them apart.
Well I really enjoyed it. A good old fashioned London cop drama. OK so it borrows a bit (a lot) from The Sweeney but I thought the retro character portrayals were excellent, if a little tongue in cheek at times.
I quite enjoyed it, although I couldn't get used to Hugh Bonneville with a 'London Cop' accent. Still better than John Thaw though.
One of my neighbours was peripheral to the Phillips-Noye clan. They er werent very nice....

The law is not very easy to understand - title to gold passes with possession - so if you were found with gold, you might not be prosecuted for theft.

so they were screwed for VAT fraud - which is kinda hard to fathom as well

an awful lot ended up shot along Costa del Crime ( Ethpanya)

Noye successfully pleaded self defence for the first undercover agent he knifed - he tried it again ( convicted ) over the M25 road rage stabbing. He got out of his car and stabbed a 19 y old in self defence. The jury didnt wear it.

then his defence counsel for no 1 went public -
it is a trick that you cant play twice....
No, watched it on catch up, got halfway through part two and gave up. Too slow rather boring.
Slow, ponderous ......but absolutely absorbing.
No it isn't sensational, gripping or on the edge of your seat stuff, but it hs me and I am binging on it.

I am interested in the life and philosophy of all the characters both goodies and baddies and I put myself in their positions and live their lives............fabulous.
bingeing.........;-)
I didn't want to see it but my OH is thoroughly enjoying it.
yeah but no but - - it is not real life sqad

they are unpleasant people wivvaart scruples yeah
so that - if a Kray brother came to you wiv diarrhoea, try to make friends with the diarrhoea - it is a better bet.
