Sorry Douglas but I'm afraid you are wrong. The Vauxhall Nova was sold in Europe as the Opel Corsa. They are not completely different cars.

it was said that Opels were made from the scrap and what was left over of destroyed Panzer tanks....a GM acuistion going back to pre WW2, the full take over in 1931 - which means that our American cousins owned a vehicle manufacturer in Germany with the Nazis around.

In fact Opel has now been offloaded to the Peugot Group PsA, some 6 years ago......
