1. It's little G's birthday the week after next and I've just booked a table.
2. OH and I are cooking steak for dinner with the two remaining lobster tails. We are watching a movie afterwards, if we can stay awake long enough
3. I have found a trip I really want to do in Riga.
4. I love my family, my friends and colleagues and I am surrounded by positive, happy and loving people.
5. It's payday tomorrow and Friday.
Two reasons...both monetary. After reading that car insurance premiums were increasing dramatically, I was expecting the worst. However, my LV premium has decreased by 15% ( and went down last year by 6%).
Brown envelope from HMRC this morning...gulp! However, it's a refund of several hundred pounds for overpaid interest on investments!
Almost too good to believe...drinks are on me!
RH - I think he will let me (well it will be that or he has to go to Tescos - we went down to one car since we both work from home and it is rare that we are both out at the same time. It seemed a ridiculous expense to have two cars sitting there doing nothing. His current car is a 2019 plate and has only done 10,000 miles). Although I imagine I have a few weeks of a) him being a bit precious about it and b) me sighing quite a lot.
You've got a little one, Lady CG. I imagine it would be very hard to manage with 2 adults, both out working and a wee one. We both work from home - Mr BM hasnt been to his office since 2018. I tend to do a lot by MSTeams and if I don't more often than not, train is the best answer. About 20 times a year, I have to drive somewhere. If Mr BM was out at his office, it would be different.
I'd love to work from home all the time, BM, but I would miss the girls in the office. We get on so well and we socialise out of work too. It's just so comfortable at home though. I stayed in my PJs and fluffy dressing gown all day.
