I went to a gig last night at which Y&T were playing. I'd never heard any of their stuff before, but I did thought some of it was OK.

I'm after two songs in particular, but not sure of the exact titles (so I've guessed them from the lyrics!) -

Is it possible to find "I Believe In You" and "Winds of Change" on the same CD?

Sheffwed39 - some of their stuff was good and some not so good :o)
TIA, I was well into this band in the early '80's. Check out the "Earthshaker", "Black Tiger" & "Meanstreak" albums. "I Believe In You" is on "Earthshaker" (the best album) and "WOC" on "Black Tiger". Whether they're available on the same CD?....not sure. There is a Best Of lurking somewhere. I lost track of them when they went more poppy/ AOR after the above triumvirate, but that doesn't mean they weren't any good! Their 1st album actually came out in 1976 I think ("Yesterday and Today"), and their 2nd ("Struck Down") in '78 - both of which were good, but I had to flog due to financial deprivation. Aaargh - I wish I still had them!!
Sorry - you're called "SurreyGuy", not "TIA". Aarrgh, this modern young persons' computer jargon!

No worries ScreaminTree :o) Y&T were on last week at the Mean Fiddler with a new band called GPS (who were formed after Asia went thru a "bit of a change"!).

I went to see GPS, but quite enjoyed Y&T having heard OF them, but never actually heard them.
