Yes, a fine man, well worth supporting. Shame his dream is far from realised.
Shame we don't have our own campaigner to celebrate, maybe it's because we are not so likely to assassinate people we disagree with.

It's also listed as global word search day, appreciate a Dragon day, and National nothing day, I think I will appreciate a Dragon then...

Especially a Welsh one I hope, Rowan.
remember that sad day well
///Shame we don't have our own campaigner to celebrate///

We don't celebrate them, we mock them (and shortly the despotic Gov't will be banning them).
on the same level as
Abraham Lincoln and the Gettysburg speech
or President Lincoln and the league of Nations - he had no influence. America failed to ratify Versailles
or Death of John Kennedy ( or Robert Kennedy)

His death and or speech ( "I have a dream") has risen from a symbol ( his speech represents black freedom) to a myth ( Barthes' idea)

his speech+black freedom now represent the blm, meghan whining industry

Barth's idea - see Myth and Mythology
John snow represents cholera ...... snow+cholera represent public health industry

someone asked that I thought for chrissakes
More garbage from Canary, you are full of it today aren't you.
//Shame we don't have our own campaigner to celebrate//

Just out of interest why? We dont, and have never had, the same race problems the USA have had (and still do in some parts).

We do have campaigners for things that need to be addressed in the UK.

Let me just add, MLK took inspiration from Rosa Parks.
President Lincoln and the league of Nations - he had no influence

indeed he didn't...
