Im 12st 7lbs....5ft 3....dress size 14-16 and getting married in 8 weeks (arhhhhh)!! I have had mini MOT which states my body fat is 44%. I have been on lots of diets over the years and I always put weight back on. The guy who done my MOT suggested having around 1600 calories per day. I want to make sensible changes that I can stick to. I intend to drink more water (my hydration levels were low from MOT)....exercise 3-4 times a week....cut back on processed food. I lack time and creativity when it comes to meal ideas. I tend live off tinned soup, spaghetti, beans and sausages, curly wurlys, low fat crisps, fruit, poached eggs and toast(wholemeal) tinned tomatoes and low fat freezer meals oh and the occasional chicken dinner. Please can anyone recommend any meal ideas that are easy and healthy or tips to help me with health and weight loss.

Cadburys chocolate bars and are great as part of a diet ...

What you need to do is get your trainers on and then walk approximately twenty minutes away from home.
When you find a corner shop buy a bar of chocolate, and break two pieces off the end of the bar...
You then need to find a big nasty Rottweiler ... throw the two bits to the dog and then wave the remainder of the chocolate at the dog before putting the bar of the chocolate in your back pocket ... then run for home.......... simple..!

My advice is to take one step at a time.

Don't go from one extreme to the other and fail; instead start with the chocolate problem and deal with it. Stop buying it today. Have a cup of coffee instead. Don't worry about eating tinned soup, eggs on toast, etc they won't do you half as much harm as the chocolate.

Instead buy some interesting fruit (ready pealed and chopped mango/pineapple or some soft yellow plums for example) and some greek yoghurt and replace the choclate fixes for more natural sugar. And have another cup of coffee.

Then and only then can you start eating more healthily in other areas. You'll feel lighter and more motivated once you've ditched the chocolate.

Find a positive attitude about it and reward yourself with things other than chocolate, like a bunch of daffs or a new lipstick.

Then when you'll feeling grett you'll find yourself looking for new menus and things you can eat on the go which are healthier. Good luck
