I have just been speaking to my Aunty up in Stoke. When she answered the phone she said, 'Hello, tater pot. Are you alright?'

It makes me smile to think that she still thinks of me as a tater pot. Sometimes it's 'sugar plum.'
Please don't anyone ask me what a tater pot is. I'm sure it's not the saucepan used for boiling potatoes. :-)

What endearments do you receive from relatives/friends?

I grew up being called "Maid". I liked that. Or "Duck" by my Mum
Bobbi - // No offence Andy and each to their own but I really dislike that term ( sorry) //

No need to apologise Bobs, we all have our likes and dislikes.

One of my sons-in-law calls my middle daughter 'Honey' - makes me cringe.
A friend of mine is from Nottingham and says ‘ ma duck’

It’s Pet from here
On a good day I call OH flufferchops.
On other days it is pronoun+adjective+noun.
If you board a bus in Sheffield, irrespective of whether you're young or old, male or female, the driver will always call you "Luv".
My son calls his younger daughter "Babz" in spite of the fact that she has recently become a teenager and her name is not even Barbara - a long way from Sophia!
Drives her nuts :-)
My gramps from the moment I was born to the day he died called me his little Martini!
My husband calls me Squiffy or Ma’am depending on the mood!
The endearments pointed my way would be removed by ABs swear filter.
But, that's life;-)
