Glad to see you back, and sorry to see you've been so unwell. My brother had sepsis about 4 years ago. In hospital for 6 months. I hope you are home. And there I was thinking you'd been busy and found your forever home. Stay well.
Sorry to put this in the dreaded CB.

Hello Pasta. In hospital for under two weeks. Been home for 4 weeks. My doctor was amazing and got me straight into critical care so ì got immediate treatment, but at one time OH was called in because I was at deaths door. I don't remember the first few days but have vivid memories of hallucinations due to delirium and suffering now from ptsd and post sepsis disorder, but I'm alive and all parts working reasonably and recovering Very, very tired with a muddled brain!! We won't be moving!!
What an awful experience - I'm glad you're now on the mend. Take care and stay safe :-)
I found a few threads that I really wanted to contribute to so I came back. And I missed our chats Pasta.x
Thanks Canary x

Hey, I know you don't know me, however I'd just like to wish you all the best :)

I know what it's like to spend weeks in hospital, it's not very nice.
Lovely to see you back, MissT...missed you but sorry to read that you've been so poorly....take care now. Gx
Hi Gness. Nice to see you. And Mr Gizmo thanks whoever you might be (you've puzzled me!)
Mr Gizmo, hehe I like it. I think I tend to puzzle many - it's a good job we're on a puzzle solving site.

Please take care. I know it's a long recovery period.
Brother was in hospital followed by rehab in another facility. He then had continuous ongoing physical therapy to get back to being mobile. He's spoken frequently of the great home carers who have come regularly to help.
I hope your recovery is quicker. Your brain seems as sharp as ever. ;)
Oh my goodness..You been through it, MissT!
So pleased you've come out the other end and on the mend, albeit slowly. All the very best to you x
Oh my, you have been in the wars :(
Sending you love and healing xx
So very very pleased to see you back my love, but so very sorry to hear that you have been so ill, I hope that you are on the road to mending in time for Chrimbo.
Thanks all. We don't do Christmas Helen, especially this year! Doc has said not to expect much improvement fòr at leat 14 weeks. So far 7 weeks. I'll get there in the end. At least I'm mobile and can get around the house - even the stairs with a bit of all four limbs monkey like. Doc has also warned that very often hair falls out months after covid. If it does your friend has promised me a restaurant wig!!

Helen Just caught out on your MIL tales! Keep smiling! X
Restaurant!! Damn predictive text. Should be RASTA!!

I meant to ask about the house move?
We are over in March so what cannot be sorted out on the phone with her will be said face to face!
House move is well and truly not going to happen. We are staying for the foreseeable future.
Oh that is a shame but understandable xxx

Keep well and safe xx
