Mine is my daughter was emailed by the lady who owned the super villa we stayed at in Mijas in July, asking her if she wanted a free 5 day stay there and all it would cost was the money to change names on the flights, the lady’s sister can’t go through work commitments.
Then my daughter rang and asked me ‘ How would you like to spend your 76th Birthday going over to Gibraltar for the day? My son in law was in the background saying “ I’ll pay for your flights” to come with us, big smiles all round here

Unlike you, Bobbi, I am struggling to find a reason to be cheerful - it's so dull and grey outside, not a whisper of movement. However, I am alive! Is the Mijas trip before or after your Xmas holiday in Lanzarote?

Wow! that sounds lovely Zyla
Oh, bobbi, you have to go up to the top. There's a spectacular cave up there too. They're ok really and very used to human company. Just a bit mischievous at times. Little monkeys! (Yes, I know apes aren't monkeys). :o)
I'm cheerful because Dave's gone to the village play rehearsal.
It's lovely and quiet in the house. No metal music. Bliss. :-)

We went across in July , it felt weird walking across the plane runway after we’d parked the car :0/
I had breakfast in Mijas once, it seemed like a nice place.

This afternoon it's even more exotic as I cross the border and head for Ashington. Rock and roll eh?

If I see you I'll give you a wave, Bobbisox. :-)

Ashington home of the Charlton boys :0)
The apes are not only up on the rock, there was always a gang of them outside our hotel which backed on to the beach.
