The poor officers, especially the one with life-changing injuries. A policeman (really nice family) lives next door to me, so this really gets to me.
It is dreadful. It did not used to be like this when I was growing up. OK, I didn't live in London (and I wouldn't live there if you paid me to) but I did live in the outskirts of Bradford and went there to cinemas etc. as a teenager and it was safe.
Next generation on - my nephew and his girlfriend had knives pulled on them whilst walking down a city centre road there.
Well what a video of the incident that is.
The police taser the man, he drops the knife, the police kick the knife away BUT do not pick it up, the man gets up and grabs the knife and starts to attack the police.

Oh, the knifeman appears to be black...better also mention there's a bloke with a bike who attacks the knifeman using the bike, he floors the knifeman. He's a hero...oh, and appears to be black.

Bit of a hokey cokey really.
