Another FIA f£&@ up robs the fans of what could have been a dramatic finish in Monza.

Finishing behind the Safety Car is not what paying fans want to see, certainly not at those prices.
Seems the race directors are paralysed after the farcical ending of last season.

Aye, if the 'best drivers in the world' can't pass a parked car on a straight piece of road a couple of times it's high time the whole thing was re-evaluated.

The whole thing is now micro-managed to the point of paralysis.
Sorry about the two 'whole things'. :-)

Mr. J2 was a huge F1 fan when we met. Not my sort of thing but we co-existed happily enough and I got on with my sort of thing while he watched.
He has now all but stopped watching and complains about how boring it is. He's worked with card most of his life, did hill-racing etc., etc..
If F1 is losing fans like him (which it is) it's in trouble. He doesn't bother turning on until it's been going for at least 20 mins. as - 'they'll just be talking and anyone interested enough to turn on already knows all they are chatting about'.
^^^^ 'cars' grrrr!
We should have extra laps ..just like we have extra time in football. The strategists could factor in the extra fuel needed based on the race probabilities and track conditions ,etc.
I have not watched this season after last years stick up. The spirt is even more crooked than horse racing.
Big money, big corruption.
