Starting today I’m putting it on my FB page and will do once a month till December
There’s only two winners , the card shops and the Post Office, stamps are now a ludicrous price and if you’ve any left over, you’d best use them up before Jan 3rd or they’ll be no good.
Instead we’ll be buying a hot meal (Christmas Dinner ) for a group of homeless in our city
I would of put this in Seasonal but I can’t find it

What’s round robins?
Round robin......a letter that is a standard letter informing people of what the year had in store for you.
Typed....same information just the name of the recipient that changes.
Question Author
Errr right ( I think) does that mean a box of cards that are the same ?
Round robin - totally impersonal , assumes everyone wants to know about your successes, bin it - don't read it. Cross the sender off your contact list.
Can't stand them and rarely read them. Always about how wonderful their lives are, how clever their kids are, how many wonderful holidays they've had etc etc etc

Re Christmas cards????
Question Author
I’m lost, are we talking sending Christmas cards here ?
Errr! No.

It is a letter, typed, which is included separately in the envelope with the card. Same details but recipient differs....totally impersonal which may or may not be of interest to all recipients.
No Bobbi it's a separate sheet of typed paper enclosed with the card, same one to everyone with Dear ( then your name) hand written
Margo...LOL...LOL...LOL...spot on.
Question Author
Never heard of it
^^ Usually sent by people who haven't been in much contact during the year!
I like to send a decent quality card at Christmas and Birthdays. Stopped sending presents via post though.
"Instead we'll be buying a hot meal
(Chrismas Dinner) for a group of homeless people in our city...... You have moved out of the little Village then Bobbi...???
>>> stamps are now a ludicrous price

Am I the only one here who thinks that 68p is a ludicrously CHEAP price to get something from one end of the country to the other? You'd pay the equivalent of £1.74 to do the same thing in Norway (and even that seems like quite a bargain to me really).
Question Author
Chris , multiply that by 80+ and it becomes a tidy sum , correct me here but I think the price of ‘everything’ in Norway is much higher than here, could it be wages?
Tight ***
Question Author
But I’m not a Karen Lozzy ;0)))
I'm with you Buen, I never complain about the price of stamps and I love sending and receiving Christmas cards.

You're crossed off my list now though Bobbs haha ...
