The BBC (Bless em) have un- earthed a video of Richi Sunak when he was a student at his £46,000 a year Boarding school Winchestr College..saying "Most of my friends are aristocrats I have friends who are upper class
I have friends who are working class ......well not really working class."
He wants to be the next PM.
Think he comes from the same class as Johnson .

If you cannot afford to send your children to Eton then you must be working class.
Never heard that definition before.

Boris’ lineage includes the Pfeffel family, Bavarian aristocracy.

At the time Boris went to Eton on a scholarship, his father Stanley had good jobs at the World Bank and European Commission.
I am sure we all said embarrassing things at school... it is quite a funny contrast to Sunak's cringey video about himself but there are much better things to criticise him for than this...

Or for that matter being hindu as some are doing! he cannot help the circumstances of his birth and education
PP: "Eton, they say is NOT difficult to get into" - anyone can go to Eton, that's why it's called a public School.
he's just being a young Richard Head, no doubt he's grown up a bit by now. He'd not the one I want to win though.
if we are honest then many of us owe a great deal to our upbringing or our family. What gets me is people pretending to be "self-made" and successful purely off their own bat... whenever you look closer there's always something that's pure luck: getting a good education, having a wealthy or connected family member or benefactor, getting the opportunity to work in a lucrative field, even a teacher or mentor who took the time to give you a leg up... there is really is no shame in any of these things but it is quite annoying when people pretend they don't exist and extend no empathy toward people who are not as lucky.
Rishi is the son of a Pharmacist and GP.

Whilst he is not working class without doubt they are not Etonian standards.

Of course, for the resident left on here anyone who has made something of himself is to be battered, oh the politics of envy eh?

On the subject of his candidacy although some while back he was my favourite to succeed Boris, I must admit I am not so sure now.
