morning, Wednesday midweek already, I hope that you are all as well as possible and that your day is a pleasant one, do you have anything planned for today? I have a friend coming over later to have a natter which will be nice, as i haven't seen her for a few weeks. The forecast doesn't look good, a high of 18c, with cloud and rain. If it was anything like yesterday it will be dire.
all the big jobs are done in garden emmie..when we bought this house there was no garden at all..it was a wild waste land of weeds and rubbish ..I had to start from scratch..everything you see I planted
When I was growing up we lived in a typical semi, then my dads company hit the big time & he moved us all to this big house with a MASSIVE garden. Even looking back I don’t know how they coped with it. You couldn’t even see the end of it from the house! Hide & seek was fab as you would never find each other!
the clematis..montana and Nelly moser are out at the moment and Rhodos so it is quite colourful...roses next..magnolia still to show..wiegela just about to burst..later clematis to follow... but I have lots of foliage shrubs in different shades of green/purple that show all year for colour
I’ve not really done anything in mine so far this year because of my back pain, and not really planted any bedding plants as to being the v first summer of the new kitties in the garden, so will just enjoy the sun this year and then hopefully by the autumn I will be feeling less pain.
all my bedding is in pots smow..garden is shrubs.. easier to do in pots for a bit of colour..can move them around and change.. only problem is I don't know when to stop and end up with 100+ pots and baskets/planters at the height of the season ! lots of watering
