Meanwhile and innocent man has been languishing in jail all these years. No amount of compensation will give him back those stolen years.

He's given a detailed account of the murders that probably only the murderer knew so if the police believe him then so will I..

With Stone's record he'd probably have spent not far off that amount of time in prison anyway. He'd had 3 prison sentences before this one.

There was a two part programme about this on the bbc a year or two back titled The Chillenden Murders
There were lengthy telephone conversations with Stone

It became blatantly obvious that Belfield was the killer and not Stone

Sadly the programme is currently unavailable on iplayer but may become so again in light of current events

god the police are credulous ( confirmation bias - get an idea and cant change it) and yes I am speaking from experience

so obvious refuting evidence - they say "you dont expect me to believe that do you?".
