Bridge, but it's free to get out, after all you are entering God's Country!! and it's worth every penny!!

actually, Dom Tuk, I believe the peasants of Plymouth have recently developed a cash economy so you might not need Bristol...

The answer as to why is that as the vast majority of trips are return, you save the cost of building and manning a second set of toll booths by only charging in one direction.

I can think of quite a lot of other toll facilities that operate on the same principle - it makes sense.

yeah, make sure you've got the cash or you're screwed. I cant fathom why in this day and age they couldn't fit a card system!

I was away for a few days, so didn't see your posting about going to The Mumbles for your holiday, really pleased you found something, you'll love it, I live about an hour away and visit the area often, it's great, and close enough for you to be able to visit Tenby etc too. Have a wonderful holiday!
