Hi all. Was tucking into some lovely chilli beef fajitas for my lunch on friday and ever since have had a terrible pain on the right side of my chest. It feels like something is stuck or wedged in. I've tried Gaviscon and loads of Rennies but it doesn't how much wind i bring up the pain is still there. When I eat or even drink it feels like it has to squeeze its way past the blockage to get to my stomach. Any idea what this could be or how to get rid?, Thanking you

No idea what it is but sounds like you need to see a Doctor.
were the fajitas hot? you could have burned yourself.

Not particularly hot, fairly spicy alright. I had chips with them, is it possible to get a chip wedged somehow?
Try drinking a can of coke really fast. Apparently the bubbles can dislodge stuff. Don't know if it'll work but it's worth a try.
I've had that "something stuck" feeling a few times - and have found that "Zantac" is great. You can buy it over the counter in a chemist. Hope it helps
If its on the right side it could be an indication of gallstones. I had them, nasty little things. Started out with what felt like bad indigestion. Had this on and off for months then one night it got so bad I needed the doctor. Had a few more bad pains over a period of weeks and ultimately had an ultrasound scan when they found them. Always caused me a problem after eating spicy or fatty food. Not nice at all. Not trying to scare you but I wish Id had it diagnosed sooner and got the medication. Worth mentioning when you see your GP. Hope you soon feel better.
