Before you bin everything, one last (free) try.

Use your new 32GB card, format it in the dashcam and then, via the menu system, reduce the video resolution to 720P. I use 720P all the time and the quality is perfectly adequate, in fact I couldn't really see any difference. Using the lower resolution the camera will be writing to the card at a much lower rate (about 1/4 the speed) so, since the SPI error seems to be an error writing to the card, you might get away with it.
Is there not some other device you can test the cards in? Mobile phone, laptop card reader? I have a USB card reader, bought in Poundland, that I use with my PC, but I don't think I've tried it with anything larger than 16GB.

I'll give those last 2 suggestions a try, thanks :)
CW if you tell us the model of the dashcam I will find a use manual for you. The bleedin manufacturers don't supply one in most cases and leave it up to you to get one online. I have mine saved in file explore documents. We know it is an Accfly but thee are numeous models. No ush now, if the device is in the moto have a look in the moning when it is light, and post the model no. I will send a link to the use manual if no one does it before me.
