Morning, Sunday already, where has this week gone. I hope that you are all as well as can be, and that you have as good a day as possible. I am on here earlier than normal, if this continues i will end up on Mamy's late night thread. But i have my coffee and have started the my day.
Anyone doing anything special today? I am off out later on this morning to the local church, where they have a bring and share lunch, so I will take some goodies to share with the parishioners. I am looking forward to it, afterwards i am going back with friends to theirs for coffee and a natter. Enjoy your day...

Used to have tripe and onions cooked in milk when I was little in the fifties, and I don't remember disliking it. In those days you could buy cooked tripe from the fish and chip shop. My father considered it a treat to have cold tripe with vinegar and a portion of chips. Also 'black tripe', (a greyish colour), was considered the best!! I grew up in Manchester, so maybe it is a northern thing?
