I know, apg, that's what I'm saying. A gesture, not an effort.
The problem is everything begins as a 'One off'.

There is no need for this, it is indoctrination of children by lefty liberal teachers.

Like I said earlier, if they have a prblem then make the uniform long trousers for all.

I don’t think this is a matter of left or right.
I agree with Aunt PG
Nothing wrong with that....
Pixie..........exactly!
/pixie374Not a big problem...mine is that 3 year olds tend to wear what is put on them by parents./

My 3 year old son would certainly not have worn a skirt. And at 3 he would be dressing himself in clothes put out for him, not being dressed.

I think it's a daft idea. Just let kids be kids and wear what they like outside of school and make trousers the only option for school uniforms, to stop the girls wearing school skirts that barely cover their bums.
Entirely harmless. My objections are only when they try the excuse of "really" being female. And as spice has shown, with just one out of loads of examples, clothing has nothing to do with sex.

The "compromise" if there is one- has to be, let men wear what they want to, nobody cares. But.... stop pretending it makes them female. Or bringing children into it.

Sex is sex, gender- whatever.
Pat.... it just reminded me of my son at 3, refusing to put on his socks, because they were "too wobbly" :-)
