nope not in a million years.
a kilt yes if deemed necessary as part of a pageant. but why do they think it necessary to make these daft suggestions.
Nothing I read now surprises me anymore :0(
Perlease!
they don't have to if they don't want to, so that's all right then, lol
Yes if they wanted to, what harm does it do?
No. I would allow a child to do anything that promotes potty 'woke' ideas - or ideals. There's nothing wrong with normal.
should that read wouldn't Naomi....
It should, emmie. Thank you.
you're welcome
The election result in Virginia should have been a massive wake up call to the Woke.
I'm pleased to say they're putting the blame on racist voters.
Question Author
SR, Have you posted on wrong thread?
spicey, what's that got to do with boys in skirts...........
Re spicerack- his just posting about woke attitudes so is linked
Yes. The Virginia election became a battle between the woke teachers, school boards, Democrat candidate.
And the parents who were told, by the above, they had no say in their children's education. The Republican winner sided with the parents.
Slightly different thing but when my son was at nursery, he spent the best part of six months when the first thing he did was head to the dressing up box and put on this cute little gypsy dress they had there over his normal clothes. We ended up buying him two dressing up boxes for Christmas, one aimed at boys, one at girls. Sometimes he'd be a policeman, sometimes a fairy.

Small kids have no idea about gender stereotypes. Let them wear what they want (within reason) and figure things out for themselves. They shouldn't be pressurised to wear anything they don't want to, neither by a parent, and definitely not by a teacher.
Perhaps this was meant to be 'light hearted' thread and I'm being too serious.
In the US, a skirt wearing boy raped a girl in the school toilets. Her father was forcibly ejected from a school board meeting and called a liar by the school board governor. It later transpired that the governor knew it was true and had transferred the offender to another school.....where he promptly raped another girl in the school toilets.
that's terrible spicy, poor girls having to endure that ordeal
These boys did a few years ago :)

And this school allows its pupils to choose what they wear

The link in the OP says the skirt is voluntary, boys don't have to wear it or they could wear trousers underneath. Seems a bit daft but as it is not imposed I don't have a problem with it
Well, he sounds like a vicious little animal regardless of what he was wearing, and the school governor should be prosecuted for enabling it to happen.

Thankfully, he's part of a miniscule minority.
