...programme in which you would like to participate?

I think it would be worth travelling to Manch to appear with peter pedant
and rowanwitch would like to do Pointless.

I have often said that I would love to be on Bargain Hunt because I often assess the actual value of items. I don't think I would suffer from nerves.

I was on 15-1 in the late 80s. It was absolutely terrifying when I was asked questions and my mind just went blank. I tried not to catch anyone’s eye in case they picked me! I've no great desire to appear on any TV programme but I do wish that I was good enough to join an Only Connect team. I'd also love to have the brain power to join a regional team on Radio 4's (almost totally impenetrable) Round Britain Quiz.

As a great lover of visits to auction rooms and antiques fairs, Bargain Hunt might also appeal to me.

My closest to media stardom to date though has only been relief presenting on BBC Radio Sheffield (being interviewed on a news programme on the same station as well), as well as being interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio 4. (I've also been pictured on the front page of the Times Educational Supplement and quoted on the front page of the Daily Telegraph).

In about 1982 I was on a programme hosted by Paul Daniels called ‘Odd One Out’. It was on the BBC and we were put up for two nights in the Royal Garden Hotel Kensington. Our daughters came with us but we had to pay for them.PD was lovely and put us at our ease. I remember going to see Pirates of Penzance while we were there - just magic with Oliver Tobias and Michael Praed.
The Theatre Royal, HW4?

This might remind you of those days ;-)
I wouldn't mind any of the quizzes really, apart from Mastermind and only connect which I love but I know my limitations. Oh and beat the chaser, definitely wouldn't take my chances there,
I persuaded husband to go on 15-1 about 20 years ago. It was a fun day out. He lost on a question about the price of a tv licence. Embarrassing!

I’ve downloaded the forms to apply for Pointless, but haven’t had the nerve to send them off.
no takers for 'Naked Attraction' then?
Knowing my luck it would be the News.
Thank you so much Buenchico (why do people call you Chris?). That’s brought back many happy memories.

just in case Chris isn't around i'm guessing buen chico is a synonym for good boy
sorry, doesn't answer your question does it? i'll go for a lie down
Lol at 08:42 !

Many years ago there was a programme called Pets Win Prizes hosted by Dale Winton and I really, really wanted to go on there with my then lovely dog (Tara) who was extremely intelligent and loved learning tricks and so on. I got through as well and was due to go down for an 'interview' with her, and then suddenly it was axed, just like that ! I was really put out over it, I think we would have done well ..
I'd love to be on Cats Does Countdown.

I'd be hopeless, but i could enjoy the company of the regulars, and I could gaze at the angel in human form that is Rachel Riley.

I am (quite) surprised none fancied going on cookery programmes. Some people on AB seem to try quite a range of recipes from different cultures, or so they say ;)

Hats off to all who have been on the media. My sympathy does go to novalis, that must still be a disappointment to him.

BA goes to hellywelly as she really enjoyed the clip that Chris kindly looked out for her (I enjoyed watching it too, though I cannot recall the show).
Thank you for BA choux xx
