I am in the midst of a Crohns flare up.
The hospital sent me targeted steroids to calm things down.
But have been vomiting, and breaking out in cold sweats.
My back and legs shivering, no strength at all, but my forehead wet with sweat.
I feel reply I'll but have never before been affected like this from steroids.
Any thoughts?

That is terrible news I'm so sorry to hear and read this take care of yourself and family .
RIP Theland.
So very sad to hear this. It is only a short while ago that Theland was showing how proud he was that his son had joined the Navy. In fact his love and concern for his family crept into many of his posts. Another of our members has passed that, although obviously unwell and possibly in discomfort, never used it as leverage. His faith was strong and I hope that his bereaved family can be strong likewise. We know that Theland had his failings, he told us, not many are brave enough to do that. R.I.P. Theland I will miss your honesty.
So sorry for your loss Ruth. Condolences to all his family and friends and thank you for letting us know this sad news. R.I.P. Theland, you will be missed.
Ruth, you have my deepest sympathy and condolences at the loss of your father. May he rest in peace.I will miss him, as others will.
So sorry to hear this sad news.

RIP Theland
Sad news, I shall miss him. May he rest in peace
Oh no, this is so sad.

RIP TheLand, you will definitely be missed on here.
RIP Theland, now in the lords care.
Whether you shared Theland's views, or vehemently disagreed with him (as many did), AB is now a duller place. RIP.
I agree, Nescio. AB has lost two very prominent members in a matter of days. Heartbreaking for their family and friends and a sad loss for AB too. May they both rest in peace xx
Thank you for all your kind messages following my father's death, today has been a very very difficult day indeed for myself I've not managed and feel quite lost.
I never truly imagined how painful the loss of a parent could be.
I know we can't do much from here, Binksy............ except listen :o)
It will get worse before it gets better Binksy. I know that's a cliché but that is what grief is. One day, in the future, you will think of your dad and smile, not cry.

Keep telling yourself that he is now free from pain and resting. It may help, a bit.

True a to the last two ^ and remember there's always a good 'kicking post' on here if you need to 'vent out'....it's perfectly understandable.
Binksy, grief is a horrid thing. Time doesnt always heal, it just smoothes the edges a bit.

It is very early days yet following the sad loss of your dad and there is no easy fix. I do hope you take some comfort from the respect that his fellow ABers have for him.

I wish you strength to get through the days and weeks ahead.
Good grief... how very sad.

We crossed paths many times at very different ends of the spectrum. I hope he has found all the answers he sought. RIP fella.
He had many questions about God and the after life.
I hope he has now got all the answers he sought, and is happy and contented. But can’t post to us - I told you so.
Always an interesting post from Theland, thought provoking too. Condolences.
I am saddened to learn of Theland's passing... may he rest in peace with his God now xx
