Hey everyone we have decided to make some wooden storage inthe garage and outside. We have bought the wood, joints etc but what is the best way to cut 70mmx70mm wood? Would a circular saw do? Or must we do it by hand. We do have a small ryobi circular saw but I think the depth is like 40mm max. We took this awesome photo of the wood we just bought http://imgur.com/gallery/4E1ypb9

Khandro,do you really have a saw horse that is 4m high??
He meant a giraffe not a horse !
Sorry, read that as feet, & as I tried to explain, the wooden device which holds a saw for sharpening, in Manchester at least, is/was called a saw-horse, & what you lay timber on to cut it is called a tressel, - miniature one to support the bottom of a large piece of work in a vice is called a dog. Joiners in other parts of the country probably have other names.
No offense meant, I guessed what you you were saying, it just made me smile!
My late FIL was a master carpenter and he told me that before he started anyone on site, he would tell them to go over to the wood racks and pull some wood out and make yourself a horse.
The state of the horse would quickly determine if you got a job or not !

Hey we found the problem we think.. the saw we use is really old we will buy another. We made one cur but near the end of the cut part of it snapped even though we tried to support the free end. How do you avoid this please?
I assume you mean the wood snapped, not the saw? If so, I would mark the line of the cut on all sides of the wood and then cut partway into each side in turn, to produce a clean edge, before sawing through the remaining wood
I often do that; then a quick sand to ensure it's flat.
