celebrity overload

I have just watched masterchef and im really annoyed - another good programme taken over by 'celebrities'. The essence of this competition was to give members of the public with a passion for cooking a chance to learn and win the chance to further their careers. why do tv producers feel that the watching public cannot enjoy a programme without a 'has been' popping up? Do you enjoy celebrity versions better? is it just me?!

I can only assume it's for charity??? Most celeb thingies are, although once their second rate celeb fee has been taken off, not sure how much will be left. I do agree with you though, they do get too much of a muchness now.

Chill, man! It's not as if they were going to do two regular series within the space of a year. The regular series will be coming back as usual next year, this celeb series is just a bonus.

I agree with bendigedig , it's not as if they were good cooks or even liked cooking. Pointless.

Really annoyed me that they put Linda Barker through ! I cannot stand that woman and her whiny voice. She didn't fillet the fish (on her own admission)I hate fish with bones in so that alone would have made me vote against her.Stupid programme!
