I don't see how reading in the loo is unclean, please explain.

it is all to do with taboos TTT

during a taboo action ( going to the bog) you are touching something that should always be clean

girlie as well ( er sozza gender specific taboos ) the gurlz think bit of the bathroom are dirtier than what the men do ( bog seat)

and men have their bleeueuch moments ( dirty nappies )
