i have a monthly standing order from my santander account
i now dont have to pay it for two months, but will need to resume it in September. is there a way of pausing it on internet banking without having to cancel an re set it up?

No, I use Santander and have had the same problem when stopping school fees in the summer months. You have to cancel the SO then start a fresh.

That’s annoying as I can with NatWest.
Santander is useless for things like that. My Lloyds account is much easier to navigate on line. They won't even let you put a cheque on your account using your phone camera -you can on the USA site but not in the UK.
