Having seperated from a spouse, is it possible to move the standing orders that come out of her account into my account without her signature? The mortgage and direct debits are in both names, and our banks are the same, but since the seperation, I have continously paid the money into her account to cover all the standing orders, and she is still withdrawing cash and then demanding more money to cover the mortgage. Much more involved, but wud appreciate any guidance to the account switch, before they reposses the house.

If they are standing orders and not direct debits, then there is nothing to stop you setting up a standing order from your account to pay the mortgage. The standing order from your spouses account would still be there but as she seems to have no money, it doesn't look like the mortgage wil be paid twice!

Unfortunatlely without her signature, there is no way to cancel or amend a standing order on her account.

If they are direct debits, just write to the companies concerned and advise them of your account details and ask them to claim the direct debit from there instead.
