just been and voted, there were 2 columns on my paper but only one candidate and you can vote the same twice. Apparently it's in case there's a draw but I don't understand why anyone would not vote for the same candidate twice so that makes it irrelevant. It was for Police and crime commissioner, gawd elp us more of St Tony's project.

danny: "..., your reasoning does apply inthe case outlined by the OP.Only one candidate on the voting form." - apologies I meant you only vote for one candidate, there were 4 on the paper.

canary:\\ "///more of St Tony's project.///
///didn't realise it was Dave///

But why no unpleasant epithet for the latter - that's usually your style. Oh, he's one of yours, so of course not.\\ - oh dear canary how little you know me, I hate Cameron more than I hate Labour after he scarpered throwing a hissy fit after not getting his own way in the brexit vote. "Dave" is the name he game himself. my usage of it was in mocking sarcasm, sorry is that was above your head.
DANNY, there are thirty-nine PCC elections in England and Wales.

This link shows all the candidates in each one and none has only the one candidate.

Atre you saying that the OP is wrong? He quite clearly states that on the ballot form there was only [one] candidate.
