I am going to be moving from Norfolk to Surrey, hopefully in the next 2 months.I haven't used a removal firm for years and years,so how do I choose a reasonable, reputable one,and not one that will be careless with my belongings, and not rip me off price wise,as I haven't a clue what the going rate is these days.

You need to get three firms in to do a quote. When I moved after 11 years of being in the same house I got three firms round to quote, one of them I could just tell didn't appreciate the amount of junk I had so no way was I going to use them! I ended up using Brittania and would highly recommend them, though the one I used was not in Norfolk so it would be difficult to tell if they are as efficient. You could try them though http://www.britannia-movers.co.uk/
