I've just had a text saying, "Royal Mail: Your package has a £2.99 unpaid shipping fee. To pay this visit: https://royalmail.unpaid-delivery.com or your package will be returned to sender."
Is this genuine does anyone know? Thanks.

I've had 3 or 4 of these from 'royal mail' now. I block and delete.

Yes CBL, I did think about it, that's why I checked on here.
Someone I know fell for this scam and promptly had her bank account emptied. Beware!
^I find it hard to be sorry for somebody who transfers money to another account "for safety"...an account that a complete stranger has set up for them.
With this and many other scams you have to transfer money into what turns out to be the scammers' account. Why can those accounts not be traced? What ID was shown/given when they were first set up, and where are they quickly emptied into?
